This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Front End Engineer in Latin America.

This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and optimize client-facing and internal web applications, shaping the digital experience for both customers and team members. You will work on a variety of projects, including the company website, web portals, and internal tools, with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and user experience. Collaborating closely with back-end engineers, designers, and stakeholders, you will influence the direction of the product while mentoring others and maintaining brand consistency. Accountabilities:

• Develop, structure, and design web pages and user interfaces across company products.
• Build and implement UI enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to assist in coding, troubleshooting, and integration.
• Maintain consistent branding and design standards across all digital products.
• Mentor colleagues and act as a thought leader to inspire product excellence within the team.
• Contribute to product strategy by providing insights from the front-end perspective.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, ideally within fintech or similar sectors.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with back-end programming, particularly in Go.
• Solid understanding of key web design principles and user experience best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, resourceful approach to complex challenges.
• Comfortable working independently in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in banking-as-a-service, brokerage-as-a-service, payment-as-a-service, or digital asset platforms is a plus.
