Senior QA Tester
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Tester to join our product and engineering team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and user experience of our telehealth, e-prescription, and pharmacy marketplace products.
While the role is primarily manual, we're looking for someone who brings automation experience and can help build or enhance our automated regression and smoke test suites over time.
You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to make sure every release meets the highest quality standards and delivers seamless experiences for clinicians, pharmacies, and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing product features.
Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Test web-based front-end applications, backend services, and databases.
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms.
Identify, document, and track defects using the company's issue management system.
Work closely with the Product Manager to fully understand and validate requirements.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
Lead and maintain automation efforts using Selenium or equivalent tools.
Participate in Agile ceremonies - sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
Help refine QA processes, standards, and best practices across the team.
Qualifications:
4 7+ years of hands-on QA testing experience.
Strong experience in manual testing across both front-end and back-end environments.
Automation experience using Selenium or similar frameworks (partial experience is also welcome).
Strong API testing experience using Postman, Insomnia, REST-assured, or similar tools.
Familiarity with backend systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and microservices.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with technical teams.
Experience testing healthcare, telehealth, or pharmacy platforms is a strong plus (not required).
