We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Senior Data Analytics Specialist

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across reporting solutions.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis, insights to support business initiatives and CSI.
• Lead the development of a data analysis practice, including frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
• Define and implement governance processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance in data analytics.
• Establish best practices for data visualization, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to align data analysis practices with broader data strategy and architecture.

Knowledge, skills and attributes

• Extensive experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, visualization principles, and business intelligence concepts.
• Proven experience in developing and governing analytics practices or frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives across multiple teams.
• Experience with other analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau) is a plus.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

• Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Microsoft Power BI certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Familiarity with ITSM or service management environments is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Building dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Applying data analysis techniques and visualization principles to support decision-making
• Leading or contributing to the development of analytics frameworks, standards, or methodologies
• Collaborating with business and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Implementing governance processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance

• Exposure to ITSM or service management environments, supporting alignment with broader data strategy
