Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together!_ Work location: Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6200 W Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: PRN Days; As needed (variable hours) PACU Department Highlights: * Potential for high job satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment from making a difference in patients' lives * Work life balance as well as opportunities for educational and professional growth opportunities * Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Here's What You Need: * Nursing Diploma in nursing required or * Associate's degree in nursing required or * Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred * 1 year of experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency required * Previous PACU experience preferred * RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required and * BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and * ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required and * PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required and * CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and * A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
