Job Title: Property Accountant
100% Remote (Must sit in FL, GA, or TN)
Job Summary
- Gather and organize financial data for preparation of financial statements for assigned properties.
- Support bank reconciliations, including collection and organization of large volumes of bank statements.
- Ensure proper digital storage, labeling, and accessibility of financial documentation in accordance with internal controls.
- Create and manage tickets for resolution of significant variances or unidentified transactions.
- Communicate potential financial statement issues to supervisor and property teams; escalate as needed per department procedures.
- Approve association budgets within departmental timelines and standards.
- Assist GL Supervisors and Managers with accounting matters related to the reporting portfolio.
- Provide support for special requests, ad hoc reporting, and projects as assigned.
- Maintain high standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct at all times.
- Participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, and stay updated on policies and regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform a variety of special projects and other related duties as assigned.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
