Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

This is specialized work performed at community center pools. This position is skilled and requires qualifications and certification(s). This employee works under limited supervision. Some of these positions are considered temporary/seasonal hires.
High school graduate or GED and at least six (6) months of lifeguard experience and must be lifeguard and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certified.
NOTE: Qualifying education training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
The incumbent will be expected to maintain lifeguard and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certifications after hire.
