Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Follow all rules and regulations as outlined in employee handbook.
2. Report to work on time and in assigned uniform.
3. Report guest/employee complaints immediately to the Executive Housekeeper
4. Implement and ensure that proper key controls are in effect.
5. Ensure that our personal grooming reflects our personal pride at all times.
6. Be respectful and discreet towards guests, coworkers and property.
7. Understand and comply with all aspects of hotel’s health, safety and fire policy.
8. Ensure proper care of furniture, fixtures and equipment within the hotel
9. Identify and report any health or safety hazard.
10. Ensure guest privacy is respected and considered confidential.
11. Familiarity with sanitation, cleaning and safety standards critical
12. Must be responsive to guest requests
13. Notifies the Housekeeping Management or the Engineering Department of any maintenance or repair that needs to be done
14. Change linen and remake bed
15. Remove soiled towels and replace with clean, dry towels.
16. High and low dust including furniture, lighting, corners and vents.
17. Vacuum or sweep flooring.

Essential Work Skills

1. Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, flooring, shower and bath-tub.
2. Clean and dry interior windows
3. Replace all guest supplies to appropriate levels.
4. Carry out other duties as may be required to ensure the Hotel Operation is properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction
