Job Description

We are looking for a Freelance Patternmaker- Atelier for a top fashion brand in NYC.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with factories on each style from development through production
• Follow up with Sample room on completion of protos and mock-ups
• Prepare garments and measurements for fittings: evaluate each round of specs against previously made comments, check measurements and identify materials (actual vs. substitute).
• Speak to measurements and specs, to guide fittings
• Work with PD/Production departments and Factories on identifying and resolving construction and workmanship issues after each fit round as necessary

Required Qualification:

• Must have 7+ years of experience working with high end merchandise in an Atelier
