Job Description

The Education Associate reports to the Regional Programming & Education Manager and plays a hands-on role in supporting daily programming operations and leading seasonal camps. This role serves as Camp Director for Summer and school-break camps and supports enrollment growth, operational execution, and high-quality classroom experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Camp Leadership & Operations

  • Serve as Camp Director for Summer and school-break camps.
  • Support camp staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training in partnership with Operations.
  • Help ensure camps meet enrollment targets, safety standards, and operational expectations.
  • Support daily camp execution, staffing coverage, and preparation.
  • Track camp enrollment, staffing schedules, and attendance.

Education & Programming Operations

  • Support daily programming schedules, classroom readiness, and material preparation.
  • Teach and facilitate classes, camps, and special programming as needed.
  • Assist with lesson planning, curriculum updates, and classroom organization.
  • Maintain class rosters, enrollment tracking, partner reporting, and Airtable systems.
  • Support workflows for cancellations, make-ups, and schedule changes in coordination with the Front Desk.
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization at the end of each day.

Sales, Marketing & Enrollment Support

  • Support enrollment growth for camps and select programs.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, email communications, and social promotion of programs.
  • Support tours and enrollment conversations related to programming and camps.
  • Track enrollment trends and share insights with leadership.

Administrative & Team Support

  • Support seasonal professional development and training logistics.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, systems updates, and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Front Desk, Events, Facilities, and Operations teams.
  • Uphold Cocoon’s service standards and member experience expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in child-focused or camp environments.
  • Experience supporting scheduling, rosters, or education administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting or supervising education teams.
  • Familiarity with Airtable or operational systems.
  • Experience working in membership-based or family-centered environments.

Position type: Full-time, in-person role with weekend flexibility (example schedule: Tuesday–Saturday).

Compensation: $62,000 annually, plus up to $3,000 in annual performance bonus (total on-target earnings up to $65,000)
