Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join a Tulsa-based team. This position is responsible for evaluating, auditing, and maintaining company documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. The Document Control Specialist will also manage submissions in Master Control and support internal users with training and system assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform evaluations and document audits across the company for accuracy and effectiveness.
Conduct regular audits to ensure all documents are properly submitted to departments.
Verify that documents have no errors in filenames or submissions before final approval in Master Control .
Upload controlled documents, drawings, customer requirements, and specifications into the company’s document control management system.
Establish approved formats and structures for filing systems within software such as Excel, Access, Word, and PDF.
Maintain a log of document copies distributed to internal and external entities and record the reason for distribution.
Serve as a Tulsa Master Control Sub-Admin , providing help desk support to end users and assisting other divisions as needed.
Facilitate continual database enlargement by scanning and adding historical documentation .
Ensure documentation distribution per Tulsa QMS procedures.
Conduct internal training, maintain compliance, and assist with new software version testing in Master Control.
Participate in training opportunities to remain up to date on best practices.
Perform other assigned duties as required.
