Salary Range: $35 to $40 per hour
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating weekends
Duration: Full-time, expected hours: 40 per week
Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) to join our team in Sylmar, CA. The ideal candidate will possess 1 to 2 years of CLS experience and is committed to providing high-quality laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Adhere to safety and quality control standards in all laboratory activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate test results.
- Document and report discrepancies or abnormal results promptly.
- Participate in training and mentoring of laboratory staff as needed.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist (preferred).
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Certificate or diploma in Clinical Laboratory Science.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a religious exemption letter.
- Strong laboratory experience and understanding of laboratory protocols.

- Proficient in laboratory techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
