The University of Mississippi, Department of Leadership and Counselor Education seeks applicants to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant/associate level in the Counselor Education program. The Counselor Education program is accredited by CACREP in three specialty areas: School counseling, Clinical Mental health Counseling; and Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. The program offers degrees at the main campus and regional campuses in North Mississippi. The program also has Ed.S. degrees in Play Therapy and School Counseling Leadership that are Online.
This is a 9-month tenure track position with the opportunity to teach classes during the summer. Course load is two courses in fall and spring semesters.

• Earned doctorate in Counselor Education
• Experience in mental health or community settings or experience as a school counselor
• Eligible for licensure as a LPC or school counselor in Mississippi
• Qualified to teach, supervise, and advise counseling students
• Participation in professional organizations
• Ability to understand various research methodologies and serve on doctoral committees
• Demonstration of research interest and productivity
